THE GUEST SUITE

Welcome to Q Estate for a relaxing year-round getaway. This well appointed large private two-bedroom guest suite overlooking the upper Rideau Lake accommodates 5 adults. The main spacious bedroom features two queen beds with a 5pc en-suite bathroom and adjacent 2nd bedroom with a twin bed. Great for small families, couples that want some alone time. The guest suite includes a private heated indoor pool and sauna for your exclusive use during your stay. The guest suite is separated by the heated indoor pool, sauna / change room area connected to the main house by glass enclosure with privacy screen. The guest suite has its own entrance via patio. The patio area spans 420 square feet and consists of outdoor dining space for 6 with your very own BBQ.

 

The space

Enjoy the incredible views of the Upper Rideau Lake right from the deck outside your guest suite. Relax with your morning coffee watching the sunrise or lounge around with a glass of wine at sunset. Looking for a short term or weekend getaway, Q-Estate guest suite is a perfect spot! Relax, rejuvenate and unwind right here at the Q estate Lake front getaway!

 

​Guest access
The indoor heated pool access is for guests occupying the guest suite only. Other cottages on property has access to lake only. 
Boardwalk and access to the dock for swimming on the lake or boat docking will be shared spaces for all guests on property.
All guests must park in the designated guest parking.

Other things to note

The guest suite is part of the main house with a separate entrance to the unit. There are 2 additional cottages on the estate about 80 feet apart from each other with their own space for each unit. So please note the estate consists of 3 rental units and other guests will be present but will be limited to their own space other than the common areas of the property. ie: parking , boardwalk and the dock by the lake.

  • Your very own BBQ with an additional side burner for stove top cooking along with BBQ utensils and propane tank provided (seasonal). Refills available at a charge

  • TV with Netflix and Disney channel which is great for young kids and adults alike

  • Welcome tea/coffee and some snacks

  • Walk in closet with storage space

  • Self-check in with key code access for entry
     

*disposable cutlery, cups and plates are available in limited quantities, please bring your own

Important notes* :

  1. Bed linen provided for 1 week stays or more.

  2. For stays under one week: Blankets/comforters/sheets/towels are NOT provided. We recommend to bring their own bed linen and blankets, towels etc...

  3. BBQ and 1 full propane tank provided

  4. Boardwalk to Lake with stairs going down to the swimming Deck

  5. No access to main house kitchen

  6. Breakfast can be provided upon request (fee)

  7. ***please note that due to covid-19 towels are not provided. Please bring your own if possible, if you forget something it is available upon request.***

  8. *** All guests entering the pool must use the pool showers before getting into pool***

Fishing
If fishing is something you enjoy, we offer guided fishing tours upon request. Please inquire for availability and pricing.
Don’t forget your fishing Rods as there’s plenty of fish in the lake off the dock on property. (Live bait recommended)
 

Canoe and Kayak
If you enjoy spending time on the lake, a canoe and kayak available for a fee.
Daily rental or weekly rental.
 

House rules

  • Check-in: 4:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

  • Checkout: 10:00 a.m.

  • Self check-in with lockbox

  • No smoking

  • No pets

  • No loud music

  • No parties or events

 

Additional rules

Please no outside shoes inside cottage. All garbage and recycling items to be separated; plastics, cans and glass bottles in one blue recycling bag. Fiber, cardboard, boxes in a separate blue recycling bag. All garbage items in clear bags only. No Black garbage bags allowed based on the Rideau township recycling and garbage standards. No smoking inside the cottage please. The cottage to be kept the same when checked in. There are 2 cottages on property about 80 feet away from each other. keep in mind other guests will be on property and some noise can be expected, however quiet times have been implemented from 11pm-7am. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
